Ethos and Character education
We have linked the themes of our ethos with the core themes for character education (Respect, Responsibility, Friendship, Ambition, Excellence, Happiness) and created themes for each term to focus on. These core values are embedded across the school in all aspects of our community.
Character education programme
The character education programme is being developed to give students the opportunities to develop key personal development skills linked to our values. These skills can be caught through the ethos and values of the school, taught through explicit lessons and assemblies and sought by students actively seeking to develop their own character.
