Oak Lodge is a very successful school for secondary aged deaf children serving Greater London. We currently have vacancies for:

A part time BSL Level 1 Tutor

required for 1 year to run a course for families with deaf children on Thursdays, 4.30 - 6.00 pm, starting in April 2010.

An Adult/BSL teaching qualification is essential, together with a BSL level 2 qualification (or a native signer)

An interest in the NDCS family sign curriculum would be useful.

Salary is negotiable.

a part time BSL Tutor

for an informal BSL club (non exam based) to teach sign language to teenagers who are orally deaf.

The club will run on Tuesdays, 4.30 - 5.30 pm, starting in September 2010

Salary is negotiable.

 

Interviews will take place in March.

Both of these positions are subject to CRB checks.
