Adult Education Information

What is Deaf First?

Deaf First students are adults of any age. Some are studying at local colleges and need communication support for their lectures. Deaf First provides this communication support as well as one-to-one tutorials.

Some students attend Basic Skills courses at Deaf First and train for employment.

We provide support through:

- Qualified Teachers of the Deaf
- One-to-one Tutorials
- Qualified Communication Support Workers and Note-takers
- Efficient Administrative staff

We are committed to providing first rate support for Deaf students of all ages.
